Jeremy Olander @ Circus Afterhours – May 31st, 2013

Ever since Circus Afterhours posted on their Facebook page last week that Jeremy Olander was confirmed to play, we’ve been anxiously waiting more details. We are pleased that a date has been set, and we can hardly contain our excitement. Olander is slated to play at the reigning #1 club in Canada on Friday, May 31st alongside local progressive house prodigy Richie G. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Olander has received massive support from some of the most influential DJs in the world. Most notably Eric Prydz, who signed Olander to a five-release deal on his highly regarded Pryda Friends label and even asked him to accompany him on his tour.

In 2011, Olander released his first two EPs on Pryda Friends, ‘Riots/Evade/Chronic’ and ‘Fairfax/Rypamont’, both of which went on to become the label’s top selling releases on Beatport that year. Both releases also received support by John Digweed and Pete Tong. The latter even featured Olander on his BBC Radio One ’15 Minutes of Fame’ segment on November 25th, 2011. We highly recommend you check it out below.

Recently, Olander released ‘Layerleaf’ on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, making him one of only two producers to have ever released tracks on both Drumcode and Pryda Friends. Seems as though Adam Beyer may have gotten a touch of the Olander bug, because he later also invited Olander to play at the world premiere of Eric Prydz’s EPIC show at London’s O2 Academy in Brixton. Since then, Olander has played alongside some of the biggest names in the biz including Sebastien Leger, Joris Voorn, James Zabiela, Sasha, Marco Bailey and Sven Vath.

At only 24 years of age, Olander has also enjoyed much success remixing tracks for the likes of Digitalism, Adrian Lux and Canada’s very own Glenn Morrision. Notably, Olander’s remix of Morisson’s ‘Mine & Yours’ received massive accolades from progressive house fans generating five times more plays on Soundcloud than all other six versions combined!

In short, Jeremy Olander and Richie G are a line-up made in heaven and this is one event you do not want to miss. Pre-sale tickets are only $15 so get them now!
