About the Club

It’s 3am, time to party! Step inside any of Circus’ 3 rooms blasting the best in trance, progressive, techno and house and it’s easy to understand why it was voted the #1 club in Montreal by DJ Mag in 2011. Open 4 nights a week (Thursday through Sunday) until the wee hours of the morning, Circus’ roster features an impressive list of local hero resident DJs, and an even more impressive list of international DJs who keep coming back for more.  Located in the heart of the gay village, Circus is powered by Funktion-One sound, a sound system that is globally recognized as one of the best in the world.

Equally impressive is the diversity and friendliness of the crowd at Circus. Young, old, gay, straight, locals and out-of-towners; there are no clicks here. It seems as though everyone is on the same mission: to worship the DJ and dance until the lights come on.

Spanning over 2,000 square feet and with a capacity of 1,600, Circus features 3 rooms: Play Room, X-Room, and The Gallery. Several massage tables with professional masseuses are also onsite for those who require a much needed rub down after a long night of dancing and fist pumping. There’s also 5 bars spread out across the 3 rooms selling water, juice, and energy drinks to keep everyone well hydrated (sorry, no alcohol!).

Over the years, some of the world’s biggest names in EDM have graced the decks at Circus including: 16 Bit Lolitas, Alex Bau, Alex Di Stefano, Ali Wilson, AnGy KoRe, Arnej, Arty, ATFC, Bass Kleph, Ben Coda, Benny Benassi, Blake Jarrell, Brian Sanhaji, Bryan Kearney, Butch, D-Unity, D.Ramirez, Da Fresh, Daniel Kandi, Dave Seaman, DNS Project, Erphun, Fei-Fei, Felix Cartal, Felix Da Housecat, Gareth Emery, Gary Beck, Glenn Morrison, Go!Diva, Greg Downey, Hardwell, Heatbeat, Hernan Cattaneo, Inpetto, Jaytech, Jerome Isma-Ae, Jochen Miller, John Askew, John Digweed, Jon O’Bir, Joop, Joris Voorn, Joseph Capriati, Judge Jules, Koen Groeneveld, Leon Bolier, Manuel De La Mare, Marc Marzenith, Marc Romboy, Marcel Woods, Marco V, Mark Knight, Matt Hardinge, M.I.K.E.
