Montreal-based producer & DJ duo, Taavi & Cabana, has set out to bring EDM to the forefront of the music industry. With a repertoire ranging from deep house to progressive and electro, their music manages to appeal to all audiences. Taavi & Cabana’s ambition for creativity has already caught the attention of many new fans. Their raw abilities continue to motivate them to raise the bar and explore new limits for house music.

Having first become immersed in house music during a trip to Spain in 2009, Taavi’s experiences that summer would provide the foundations for his DJ career later that same year. The two would join forces soon after, in the winter of 2011, opening for artists such as Avicii, Cazzette, Swanky Tunes and many more along the way.

Fun Facts

Taavi: During Taavi’s trip to Ibiza in 2009, he came down with a bad case of swine flu. In a drunken stupor, likely due to large doses of medicine and cheap tequila, he stumbled into La Pacha for a night that would later inspire him to pursue his passion for Djing. It was only a year later, after stumbling upon videos of that fateful night, that he realized that he had attended a Swedish House Mafia “Dark Forest” set.

Cabana: Cabana has an identical twin brother who works in the animation industry. He once interned for Disney/Pixar, which is why you can find animated versions of Phil and his brother hidden in recent Pixar movies, such as “Brave.”
