From the beginning, Stefane Lippe’s career as a DJ has been fabulous. He quickly knew how to build a solid reputation of excellence, while gaining the respect of Montreal’s clubbing community. As early as the year 2000, his popularity started increasing dramatically, thanks to the Club Sky’s Happy Hours in Montreal, and his specific Deep Funky Vocal sound.

In 2001, his dreams became a reality when Les Productions S.P.P. offered him his first dedicated DJ residency. Stefane became the monthly super star of the very popular event called Dimanche Church. Thanks to his very fluid spinning technique, his tempered style often comprised of FUNKYTECHTRIBALISM and great vocals, Stefane won the heart of his diversified customers, all falling in love with his music’s incredible energy.

In 2002, Stefane entered the world’s major dance events. These events included his starring role as a DJ at the Bad Boy Club Montreal’ Twist Party, along with DJ Paulette. In August, Stefane played at the after hours club Aria during Divers Cite’s closing events at Pride Ball. He played at Aria for 3 consecutives years, along with DJ Rob Di Stefano, owner of TWISTED records and Peter Rauhofer. Stefane DJed the 12th edition of the Bad Boy Club Montreal’s Black & Blue Festival, where he played along with DJ James Anderson (NYC) during the closing event called Recovery Party held at Club Metropolis. It is also in 2002 that Stefane takes control of the music at Montreal’s Club Unity 2. On December 31st, Stefane ends the year with STEREOMOVERS during a New Year’s Eve special event.

The year 2003 had been a fabulous year for Stefane. He signed with the major gay club in Montreal, better known as Parking where he was signed to play two Saturdays every month. He also made his grand entrance into Canada’s metropolis, Toronto. There he was signed to play one Saturday every five weeks at the famous Club FLY.

In 2003, Stefane makes his entrance into the very popular after hours club STEREO along with DJ Stephan Grondin. Later that year, Stefane Lippe is featured in the city of Vancouver, on the west coast of Canada, at the club GORG-O-MISH. A loyal following was soon established. During New Year’s Eve on December 31st 2003, Stefane shared the turntables with DJ David Knapp at Club FLY in Toronto.
Following the major success of this event, Club FLY immediately booked Stefanes services for New Years Eve 2004.

Stefane Lippe is now becoming a renowned DJ. The new after hours club CIRCUS granted Stefane a monthly residency. Stefane had a huge success playing twice at STEREO during the event called Finally Paris, along with DJ Tracy Young. The crowds noticed his insatiable Queer as Folk Future Babylon Tour, where he shared the turntables with DJ Manny Lehman.

In 2004, Stefane played twice in Europe. One of his tours lasted three weeks. He spun at Elysee Montmartre for the party. Finally, and Man Ray for the party Go during Gay Pride in Paris. His tour also included Club Kingdown for the party Joystick during Gay Pride in Cologne, at Nices club Le Klub, and again in Paris at the Red Light Club and twice at Marseilles Spartacus?

In August of 2004, for Gay Pride Montreal, Stefane spun before a crowd of 30,000 people during the huge event of La Grande Danse. Following the success of this event, Stefane was immediately booked for the 2005 edition.

As recently as February of 2005, Stefane played at the Underground Legacy, along with DJs Robert De La… Gauthier, Tiga and Rob Di Stefano.

The next major step for Stefane will be the production of music, while keeping his residencies in Montreal and Toronto. Stefane has become the clubbing’s rising star in North America.

Combining his energy, talent, and club experience, he knows how to please the variety of crowds… and make them dance for hours on end.

His hard work has earned him residencies in several Montreal clubs such as Sky, Sisters (Sunday Church), the Stereo Nightclub, After 8 ( strereo club ) , Parking , Unity ,Fly ( Toronto ) , Circus Afterhours and gigs in various prestigious clubs around the world like the Elysee Montmartre (Paris), Klub (Nice), the Gorg-O-Mish (Vancouver), Terminal (Quebec), Red Light (Paris), Sunrise (Ottawa), Spartacus (Marseille), the Kingdom (Cologne), and several other major events of the BBCM Foundation (Organisers of the Black & Blue Festival), Divers/Cité and many others.

Stéfane Lippé has amassed an impressive artistic background, on tage before the some of Montreal’s most imposing crowds of it’s nightlife,You may be lucky enough to gave heard him on the Bell Centre’s dance floor, December 31, 2006, when he was at Celebration, with Paul Oakenfold (London), Steve Lawler (London) and Franco Fabi.The year 2007 will not be outdone, with a stunning performance with Peter Rauhofer (NYC), Antoine Clamaran (France), D-Formation (Spain) and Mark Anthony, while Stefane opened the seventeenth edition of Black & Blue (2007) in Montreal’s Olympic Stadium and in 2009 at the Palais des Congres with Franco Fabi, Sasha, Dave Seaman and John Digwwed.Whether performing at Circus, Parking, or even Fly, Stéfane Lippé leaves nothing to chance in order to provide the most amazing benefits. What keep the revelers on their toes until the wee hours of the morning!

Constantly looking for new sounds and anxious to learn new skills, depth and warmth of sexy house beats Montrealers are the greatest inspirations for Stéfane.It was in September 2010 that Stefane launched its first 2 original productions on the Montreal label DeepSound Music.
